14. ♥ Although I will admit she is useless in the beginning, it makes perfect sense when you look at her character flaws, and those are part of what make her interesting.

24. I agree that it's hypocritical, but I can see where the attitude comes from. Outside female-dominated fandoms, men are still privileged, which means that should they decide they want to carry their love of objectification over into real life, there's a lot more they can get away -- and potentially cause harm -- with.

28. ... Y-yeah, if I'd just seen that ad on its own, I would've just thought "Awesome, a shoutout to gamers!" without horsepower occurring to me at all.

Those of us who are white, upper-class, Anglo-Saxon, and Protestant, yes. The rest of us feel disenfranchised like you would not believe. :-(
