I'm hoping it was just poor phrasing. If what they meant was "do I have to be interested in the sexual and romantic exploits of gay characters and people?" then I would say no, they're not required to do so. Just as long as they don't stand in the way of those people having the freedom to be with each other.

i love how SJWs are always bringing up how irrelevant the tone argument is - but they use it constantly themselves.

BUT THE TONE!!

and besides, they may have somewhere on this planet offended a person who is gay! you can't offend a figurative person who hasn't come forth to say whether or not they're offended!
