Yep, exactly, artists have that responsibility to mark images they put on the Internet.

People do edit off tags sometimes, but it's usually the crazies who want to pass the art as their own, but that's another issue. I had a website crop my URL off the image and then link my full name and website right below it, so... it gets weird sometimes. But majority won't remove the link.
