He basically posted his private life on LJ and expected people not to read it.

Obviously 10,000 people read it

First wife (now annulled) was trolled to death by fanbase
He was surprised when someone told his parents he was bi (after posting to LJ)
Now he's left LJ, where he first started TAS/got first followers.
TAS has gone downhill/never the same since.

Seriously if you're an internet celebrity and post anything on the internet people are going to read it.

If I remember correctly, he did comment about his relationship stuff on his tumblr and how his IRL life keeps him busy. As for the jokes getting old... I expect it from someone handling an abridged series with a few writers who happen to be his close friends.
