I did do that search, and I just didn't find anything as bad as OP led me to believe. Does that mean I'm jaded, or OP is oversensitive? (I mean, yeah, the character is technically 10, but this is Pokemon, where 10-year-olds solve supernatural enigmas and outwit adult criminals on a regular basis; it seems cheesy to blithely accept all the things they do in canon that realistic 10-year-olds don't do and then screech "brain bleach!!" when fan artists extend that in any sort of sexual direction.)

(op) Well I don't watch the anime, and when I think of Iris I think of Iris in the games, in which she does act very much like a young kid - in the games she acts closer to eight than ten, IMO. So, yeah, when I think of Iris I'm like, "Aw, she's such a cute peppy little kid if I knew her when I was her age we could've been BFF's I wish I could adopt her! <3" So, yeah, when I see fanart that pays very exaggerated atttention to her genitalia, it has a huge "bleehhhh" factor to me. >_>'

I don't think it means I'm oversensitive or you're jaded, necessarily... just that we see the character in very different ways.
