I like older men too, and I don't think it's weird. Though that actor does nothing for me as far as his physical appearance goes, I really liked him as Agent Coulson! I'm looking forward to the new Avengers movie for him, too! So don't worry, he's not unappreciated (and not even that old, I mean, he's what, in his 40s?)

Well I'm not much in the fandoms besides seeing general stuff as I'm a canon shipper in the movies but I fucking LOVE Agent Coulson. I didn't even consider him OLD lol.

Coulda sworn there was a big Agent Awesome fanbase for him. Sucks about your friends though! =(

I thought Coulson`s badassery and Clark Gregg awesomeness were generally accepted in the fandom. Maybe you should mention him and see how your friends react? You may be surprised.

I totally agree! I was so annoyed that he didn't get one of those "Avengers" posters. In my opinion, Coulson is one of the most awesome things about the franchise. The way he's so cool and collected while all this shit goes on is totally hot.

He is AWESOME, to be sure. IDK if I find him ~hot, but he's witty and awesome and engaging, which is so much better. (Ffffuuuu, I totally saw him at a premiere once, but he took me by surprise and so all I did was grin like a twit and say "HI!") Basically that entire cast is flawfree, really.

Didn't every one of those other guys essentially get their own movie?* I'm not in Avengers fandom and thus wouldn't know, but that's my guess as to why he's not getting as much attention as the others.


*I'm counting Thor and Loki together as getting their own movie because the movie was about Thor, and fandom kind of blew up over Loki from what I know
