Sorry anon. I very much disagree. Because at least in the books, for the most part, the taint of Lucas is usually nowhere to be found, outside actual established G canon being used in them.

...Have you seriously not looked at the planets that actually exist? There *are* planets that are covered with ice - and before you try the 'Then how is there life?!', like someone already said. Colonization. It happens. Point in fact, us humans seem to be pretty damn fond of it.
