I like both, but I found that the first season of the US one was far more enjoyable overall (haven't found time to catch up on the second). That their cast were not complete expys of the the UK's cast was also a plus, and made it easier for me to appreciate each series on its own. Annie and Sally in particular I love to bits, and am so glad they're nothing alike aside from the way they died. That said, the UK cast was immediately likeable. Aidan actually bored the shit out of me for the first half of the season, but then garlic happened, and he was allowed to derp it up more often. And everything was adorkable forever :)

btw Season 2 of the UK version was ass. Complete ass. I know that US series tend to get more episodes to tighten their writing and elaborate more, so it's not quite a fair comparison, but holy crow it was so bad. This UK > US series nonsense makes no sense to me because good lord that was one of the shittiest, inconsistent things I watched. Heroes flashbacks, man.
