I'm going to be honest, I find the premise of that show kind of disturbing.

Finally, finally a Person of Interest secret! And thusly I stop feeling like the only person watching such a great show, woo hoo! High-five!

Not being a shipper in general, I can't necessarily say I see the depth of feeling you may be tuning in to, OP, but gosh darn it all if I don't love their chemistry. Their dynamic is so wonderfully subtle and I adore it! (and they're both pretty great characters in their own right, which helps)

This is fine, no one will blame you. Their back and forth phone talks are hilarious to me, and I guess they actually play off each other well (as do the actors for Carter and Fusco [who need more scenes together. the entire cast is adorable bamf]). Plus the dialogue is cheesy as fuck.

"What's this now, Finch?"
"I don't know. Why don't you tell me, Mr. Reese?"
"You want my opinion over the magic god computer, Finch?"
"No, Mr. Reese. I'm asking if you can see what's in the tinted windows."

it's actually doing pretty well in the ratings. Unless there are some absolutely amazing pilots next fall I can't see why it'd be canceled.

pretty sure the showrunners knew from the start that Reese/Finch was going to be a thing. Stuff like last night's "inseam measuring" would be really superfluous otherwise.



Not that I'm complaining. I'll take me some Batman Jesus/Ben Linus any day :)

I'm so happy to see a PoI secret ^^ About the slash, well, tbh I wouldn't want to see JC and Emerson kissing but at the same time, I ship Reese and Finch. They've got an amazing chemistry and I love the way they're slowly opening to each other. I think Reese can't believe he's found someone who is more emotionally closed than he is.

I like them, too. Could be I have a thing for dubiously villainous people with soft, gentle voices. Mmmm. But the two of them seem to have genuine affection, and despite their stuffy formality, they are rather intimately involved with each other. There's definite chemistry and loyalty.

I watched three episodes of this, liked the first two but found the episode arc of the third episode terribly boring.

I actually found myself shipping Carter/Reese more, but I am going to continue watching and perhaps be convinced otherwise.

The start of this show is pretty bad imo, because it feels like it's trying too hard to play with the novelty of not assuming what role a poi takes. The premise gets old fast. Plus, the pacing is a bit stilted, so episodes can be rather hit and miss.

But, it finds it's feet around/by the Elias episode. That's about six or sevenish episodes in though. By and after that, there's more focus on the main characters, and developing them around these cases. Also, if you ship Carter/Reese already, there's still more fodder to work with if you stick around :)

Good to know it gets better - thanks, I'll keep watching. I personally like the premise, especially when the show throws a curveball (like in the first episode) but I did have my doubts how long they can just base everything on that, which is why the third ep was such a miss.
