The thing that's great about fictional stories, is that you can like a character a lot and still acknowledge they're a horrible person who you'd never want to meet irl. Vriska has also expressed sadness and confusion for what she's done before (i.e. felt bad about killing Tavros and Aradia), so she's had some redemption.
