Clearly you were distracted by said tight leather and not really paying attention to, you know, the dialogue. There was some, in case you didn't notice.

Also, 'barely-legal-looking'? Since when is that a problem? As a 22 year old woman frequently mistaken for a 15 year old girl I am amused (read, annoyed) that you're dictating that I can't wear whatever I damn well want for fear of offending someone because I 'don't look legal'!

Not OP, but at least for me, it's more that Snyder in particular has a pattern of movies that don't just feature the rape of female characters, but seems to delight in it. There's ways to film rape scenes that decry it, or deal with it frankly, and the way Snyder films it seems more interested in titillating--300 (the oracle and her sexual enslavement), Sucker Punch (deleted scene, but there's a sequence where Baby Doll is being prepped for sex with John Hamm's character--again, instead of filming it as a moment of dread and discomfort, it's filmed titillatingly), Watchmen (Silk Spectre's beatdown is undeniably brutal and granted, her true relationship with the Comedian is a complex thing, but the language of the shots when the Comedian has stopped beating her and prepares to rape her? Yeah.) The list, I suspect, would be longer if he had more films under his belt.
