For the most part, I agree in the want for more of a familiar fandom, but I disagree that Hisao was a half-assed character. I was actually really surprised at how much depth he was actually given in regards to his life and his own disability, in addition to what he began to realize about himself as he was learning about each of the girls.

As it turns out, a good friend of mine played through and said he really was able to connect to Hisao, esp. in regards to his feelings concerning his heart (they share the same affliction). Really, it surprised me at how accurate they managed to portray a multitude of issues, and I actually wish more media would do this.
