7. Well, technically at this point all fantasy IS "derivative" of something. Everything has been done before at least once. The trick is finding several somethings and combining them in a way which hasn't been done, or doing something which hasn't been done often.

I don't really see anything wrong with pornifying cartoon characters, as long as it's labelled as such REALLY CLEARLY well before you actually get to it, so the unsuspecting can't run across it. I do object to it being done badly, but I object to human porn being done badly as well. I don't really think I prefer furry stuff to human stuff, I just think the animal characters are neat. I don't want to be involved with mainstream furdom, though, because there are too many really weird people in there. Just lurk on the fringes, and if a reporter asks you what yiff is, for God's sake tell them you don't know.
