(Anonymous) 2012-03-02 01:17 am (UTC)(link)Staff are trained to recognize the standard behavior of shoplifters. Ergo, all you have to be is not your standard shoplifter. If you just want to steal for the thrill of stealing (not to gain high value items - that's a whole other ball park) then you just have to go for something that your profile never would (so, if you're a white woman go for sportswear, etc). There are tonnes of tricks to get around what people are taught. I wonder how many people you haven't caught...
