I agree. I have different degrees of Ted in my group of friends and I at one point just hated dating and wanted to just get into an awesome committed relationship and skip the dating.

For my story, I ended up marrying my boyfriend of 10 years after we had separated for a while. For my best friend (girl A) she ended up marrying her best friend who was in her group of friends, and he dated girl B in high school. So for us high schoolers we thought it would be 'true love' and they would end up marrying, but they didn't. Sure friends can complicate relationships but sometimes they can work out well. I think it's true to marry your best friend. =) As for girl B she is still dating and hates it, so right now she's completely Ted in the romantic aspect.
