wait wait wait holdonaminnit. Reading certain fic is a rite of passage now? And if it doesn't make me cry, I'm going to be jumped by over-invested and defensive fans?

Man, what am I doing wrong if I haven't run into these types? Now's a good a time as any to read AOTW I guess. I automatically veer away from terminal illness fic because it's basically always terrible, but if it means having to give up being officially in this fandom, I better hop to it!

Seriously though, let's be masters of scrolling past the stupid yelly parts of fandom together :)
