(Anonymous) 2012-03-07 12:56 am (UTC)(link)Obviously(do I need to say duh?) everyone has an author/authors they love that others will hate. In some ways, discussing fic and author prefrences is a bit like the old adage of "never talk religion or politics" it's going to turn into wank at some point.
The problem i've seen lately though, is that the fandom has become over-run with as an anon above said "tween-teen tumblr users".
The the meme? It's like some twilight reading, benedict cumberbatch bed-sheet fans have puked all over it. It's hilarious. It's also painful and sad.
Yes, I can stay within my fandom circle of friends as you do. But unlike before, before the twilight readers, tween-teen tumblr users invaded...I can't get away from the tin-hatters. They. Are. Everywhere.
