I kind of collect dildos.
By kind of, I mean I have a problem. And by collect, I mean I put them on a shelf. Or on the wall if they've got a functional suction bottom. They basically decorate my room the way my books, dvds, figures and other hobbyist whatnots do. But I don't use them. I just like the way they look, especially glass ones.

My girlfriend wasn't sure what to make of it the first time, and bless her, so she told me she was ready to be as open minded about whatever so long as it got me off. We had a grand laugh and I lolno'd. She gets it though, that while they're still sex toys, I don't have them for sexual reasons. Even though I'm sexual.

That is an excellent story, but now I'm left picturing a room lined with dildos - on shelves and bookcases and sticking straight off the wall, all shades of the rainbow. And now I wan to see that room. And I never will. :(

To nonnie up above: I collect cuffs. I fucking love wearing them. They make me feel calm and safe and just....good. I don't have a partner, and if I did there wouldn't be sex involved in my cuff love. Sex doesn't always have to be involved.

I think my favorite part of your story is how unashamed you are. I would love to collect dildos in a non-sexual way (they're so bizarre and come in so many shapes and sizes. It'd be like collecting action figures or artwork or sculptures or something) but I don't think I could ever get over the embarrassment I'd feel if people found out. Not that I think there's anything to be ashamed about, but I'm just that type of person who's nervous and embarrassed about everything.
