I think the show should have been set in the future from the jump, but otherwise be unchanged (with the Epitath episodes taking place in 2029 or something).

Makes the "secret imprint technology" thing seem more plausible. Also, like many other shows, it totally broke my suspension of disbelief when holograms started showing up sparingly in season two.

Chuck has the same problem, holograms and all.
