OP - lol I really ought to only make secrets about currently-airing shows when they're on hiatus. I just totally didn't see that coming!

Also, could there be a more genius way to keep the apartment/bar as the center of action without either marginalizing Marshall and Lily or making them out to be neglectful parents?

Still completely excited/anxious about the baby though.

It's seriously so brilliant! And I love the journey the apartment has gone through over the course of the series. ...Like, I think the apartment has character development. That shouldn't be possible but--

I'm very curious to see how they'll handle the baby as well.

IA. The Apartment has been like a character to me ever since s1's "The Duel". Not quite as well-developed as McLaren's, but still....yeah, that journey is really great. And I love how there's a reason they all hang out there all the time -- because it's above the bar.
