Patricia Heaton, the woman who plays the wife, has said some less than quality things on twitter regarding Sandra Fluke.

ugh. i just googled about the stuff she said on twitter and it just makes cringe. so gross and thoughtless. she has a right to her opinion and beliefs but there's no need to be so crass about it.

She has a history of saying some less than tasteful things. (Google Patricia Heaton twitter, there's an article that has a record of some of the stuff she's said.)
Yes, I've said some stuff about people I didn't like, but the difference is that I knew them personally, she doesn't know Sandra Fluke personally.
But hey, maybe I have a bias because I consider myself a Liberal while she's in support of Conservative views.
