For your own sake, do NOT compare your relationship to a fictional good one!
It's one thing to look at say, a depiction of abuse and realize it's close to home and maybe you need to re-prioritize. But most "good" relationships in a story are stil in a story, and depictions of an ideal.
Now, maybe your relationship isn't good. Maybe that's a problem. But avoid the trap of "is it good enough?" in the sense of comparing it to, in this case, white collar. Real people tend to have relationships somewhat more complicated because there's a lot of crap you can fit into the 23 hours of a day you deal with a real relationship. Also, a lot of good times. You go out looking for a fictitious depiction of a relationship to hold your own up to though, you better be a fictional character yourself.
