protip: anon comments tend to come fast and hard because, as we're being anonymous, we don't get email notifications. If you don't get your comment in to another anon quickly enough, they're likely to not see it.

This is why anonclusters like this thread look like they are all by the same person. A person who really likes talking to themselves and arguing with themselves about feminism, and then calls themselves out on being sockpuppets when anons agree with each other.

Oh wait. I meant, agrees with themselves. Because I am you, too, sockpuppet!anon. We must all be the same person really.

And since every other anon here is agreeing with the frothing anon above, that's why I'm calling sockpuppet. A bunch of anons agreeing with themselves in barely spaced comments has all the hallmarks of sockpuppetry.

Why assume a sock puppet until proven otherwise? Is no anon ever allowed to agree to something because clearly a sock puppet?

Does this mean your dorknessrising's sock? After all, an anon appeared shortly after she left to take up her torch. Personally I doubt this, but I doubt a lot of sock puppet claims, but by your logic, you would be. If you are - LOL, if you're not - maybe the other anons aren't sock puppets either.

For me, I think a few minutes would be next to impossible. I don't not about you, but it takes me a little while to type comments and read them. If everything was really, really short, I might be able to manage 5 minutes between comments in different threads, and this isn't taking into account changing my writing style (without it being hilariously caricatured). I don't know. You try it and see how you do.

I've managed to crank out multi-paragraph comments in the past about 5-10 minutes apart, and I type at an average speed (35wpm). So no, I don't think it's impossible. Especially for someone who is extremely pissed off and on a roll.

Where? I want to compare times. For me, I went straight from my response to your comment to the next (http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/852297.html?thread=528896073#t528896073) and it took me a good 15 minutes (granted my response as a little long, but still!)

Not in this thread, but in threads elsewhere. And anon was making plenty of mistakes. It kind of hurt to read because I had to stop for a minute to figure out what was even being said. How anyone could call that "articulate" without being a sockpuppet is beyond me.

False modesty ("you're too kind, I wasn't THAT good, tee hee!") is another sockpuppet flag for me.

Because they brought the sockpuppet in after the argument was over and person they were yelling at stopped replying, so they got the rage out of their system already and were a lot calmer when congratulating themselves.

And actually I am the yelling anon. :) Believe me, I know I wasn't articulate. I was a screaming ball of rage, and I'm embarrassed by typos/words missing I have in regular conversations - I know it'll be worse when I'm mad. (It doesn't help that my computer is finky and occasionally moves the cursor to an entirely new spot, sometimes deleting words in the process.)
