I think it's more the whole SF_D way of arguing that is problemetic, as in, someone fucks up and says something that someone deems offensive and everyone dogpiles them. Then they aplogise and they continue being dogpiles and their fuck up brought up for the rest of their LJ lives. It seems this happens in just about every second SF_D post.

Also, "You sound white" is the most dismissive and ridiculous way to 'win' an argument, as people seem to say it to POC more often than not. They might as well say, "I don't care what you have to say, so STFU".

I also love when "shut up str8" gets thrown around to "win" an argument. Also often at people who are, you know, not straight.
