I totally get this. He had such a good heart, even if he didn't understand or accept something at first, he'd come around because he loved his family.

Yeah, no. Hank would come around and be supportive of his son, Bobby, even if he developed effeminate traits at a later date. I'm not saying he'd be thrilled about it but give him some time to get his around it he'd support his son even though he doesn't understand it. I actually am from TX and know people like Hank and Bobby and that's what happened.
