Also, claiming that triads/quads/open marriages can't possibly last because they always break up- jesus, look at the monogamous heterosexual divorce rate before picking at the splinter in your neighbor's eye.
You could replace 'poly' with anything- interracial, gay, may/december couples, pairings with a transgender person involved- it'd still be spouting ignorance.
