Just want to say THIS THIS THIS to everything you just said.
I know have irl friends in Poly relationships that are fulfilling and wonderful for them and work amazingly.
I really hope all these haters are talking about purely the WRITING of Poly pairings in fanfic, and not the actuality of them in REAL LIFE, because seriously, that level of ignorance must be 'bliss'.
