I just want all the fic about Carlisle. I think he is quite possibly my favourite of all of the characters. And he has the potential to be pretty dark, as well, since when you think about it, he basically went around finding people who had died in pretty horrible manners, and forcing them (without any kind of real consent, in some cases) to recover and live forever with him and battle horrible bloodlust just so he wouldn't be alone in the world. How twisted could that be? And that time he spent hanging out with the Volturi? Who knows what kind of things he might have seen - or been part of? What attitudes he might have picked up without realising it? He's basically a benevolent dictator and I just find that fascinating.
