Most of the secrets on F!S aren't "pressingly important", though. Most of the time it's just people expressing their disappointment or disgruntlement over something fandom-related. I don't find this secret out of place at all. If one of my slash fics ended up turning into, say, het, I'd want to rant, too.

True, but most F!S also are talking about things that are a little more general than 'This one/these two fics!' which, honestly, seems to be what the OP is talking about here. Maybe it's just me, but it seems a like a lot of effort to go through to rant about one/two fics, as opposed to doing it in your journal, or a comm like fanficrants. [Please don't get me wrong - I'm not saying OP ~Shouldn't~, I'm just puzzled by it in general]
