I'm not really a fan of threeways either, just because I have the crippling paranoia that one will end up getting left out. But each to their own!

I do feel you on the pairing/relationship changing halfway through. I remember there was this YGO author back in the day who wrote nothing but Kaiba/Serenity, but would always put a different pairing in her summary. Only for the start of the fanfiction to be 'lolz, [insert pairing here sucks], it's Silentshipping!!11'

I'm not really a fan of threeways either, just because I have the crippling paranoia that one will end up getting left out.

I have this too, but I also get similar feelings when reading about happy married couples at the start of the story, gay couples when they're not the focus (and even then one of them usually dies ie Brokeback Mountain), or the black guy in any horror genre. :(
