Ah thanks for that info, I did wonder what the reaction in fandom or whatever had been like but I really just couldn't bear to wade into those murky discussion waters. (Yay for F!S I guess)

That writer sounds... well... like an idiot. How do people get into the position of writing for such a popular show and yet still be so uninformed? The next step in evolution thing? OMG I had to read that twice because my poor old grey matter couldn't believe that this was her defence... or... justification? And blaming it on the higher ups is so low, like yeah maybe they were all stupid fuckwits regarding this issue but seriously if I had been in her position I would have been like... "ummm no I don't think I'll be invalidating a section of society today, if House needs a problem to solve I'll think of a different one after all I'm supposed to be a fucking writer."

She said that she thought that people would google asexuality after the show and find out all about it... that that was her, like, goal or something.

*Wows* Oh I see, she was trying to inform the kids. House as educational tool. It's a pity the show got cancelled maybe next year they could have had House have a bet with Wilson that evolution isn't true after all and Darwin only wrote about it because he had a tumour pressing onto his medulla oblongata which somehow produced some badly CGI'd cell things which disintegrated in his bloodstream and made him imagine all that orchid stuff and really he was just a man of God and OMG how disgusted would he be with his life's work if he could have known about his illness and what it did to him and now let us all become creationists because House says so and have bible study sessions as a choral version of "You Can't Always Get What You Want" plays in the background. And (a drugged) Wilson chases a chicken. And House limps off looking smug. And everybody lies. The End motherfuckers.
