Of course, they've managed to take a total shit on homosexual relationships at least once.

I don't know the name of the episode, but the cure for the disease of the week was a kidney transplant. The patient's partner offered to donate a kidney and turned out to be a good match. Lucky patient, right? Except that conversations between the partner and House made it abundantly clear that a) the partner knew her gf was planning to end the relationship and b) the partner was donating the kidney because she knew her gf would never leave her if she felt like she "owed" her partner for something that big. Even House, manipulative douche that he is, looked sort of shocked about it.

If House has been a shining example of non-fucked-up lesbian relationships since I quit watching then one fucked up relationship wouldn't be much of a problem. But I'm betting it hasn't been.

Jeez, I don't watch House so I never knew they screwed that one up too. What the hell is wrong with the writers?

You know what, I actually forgot about this but, yeah, this sucked too. IDEK why I was so surprised about the asexual thing because like you say it's not like this kind of crap isn't par for the course on the show.

Also you would be right to take that bet. The best they've managed to do is a half-arsed portrayal of bisexuality.

To be fair, House portrays ALL relationships as fucked up. I never got the idea that they were saying "well obviously their relationship sucks because they're lesbians hurr hurr" it was more like "everyone's relationships suck because this is House, no one can be happy."
