The most interesting relationship for me is between Haydon & Prideaux tbh, especially with the subtext implied in the movie.

Hell, yes. IMO the sub in the text was edging close to dom with those two.

It was text, I thought? In the books even Smiley brings it up and in the movie their interactions just screamed WE WERE IN A RELATIONSHIP ONCE, YOU KNOW. And Mark Strong's smile. *o*

Ah, I haven't read the books, and the IMDB/wiki information stated it was subtext. I thought it was pretty clear but! I didn't want to step on toes.
