True. You really have to motivate yourself when you start, unless you're already a disciplined person used to forcing yourself to keep at something that's initially no fun. I haven't had a running buddy in a long time who wasn't already habitual about it :(

The time I go out doesn't matter much. So long as it's the first or last thing I do before work/class. I still hear you on the self-conscious front, but I'm pretty much disguised when I go out (toque/bandana+asshole shades) so I don't have to worry about anyone recognizing me.

You sound like you've plateau'd :U which I'm supposed to say like it's a bad thing but idc. GO YOU!
