I saw talk of a Rarepair week on tumblr, so there's that.

The only SPN pairing I ship is Cas/Crowley.

Get some friends together and start the exchange yourself? I've seen enough love for other pairings (Bobby/Crowley, Cas/Balthazar, Lucifer/Sam, etc) that I'm sure people would participate.

You just named four fairly big pairings that you like, and you're complaining? Talk to me when there's only one pairing dominating the fandom and you can't stand it.

Oh, I love this secret <3 SPN gets such a bad rap, I was so anxious at first because all anyone talks about is how ~crazy~ it is, but it turned out to be so easy to avoid in favour of the fun stuff.

Also, I would murder for some Anna/Cas, I swear to god.

I was totally scared of getting into the fandom because of some of the things I'd heard, but most of the people I've met there are actually really awesome. The crazies are easy enough to avoid, in my experience. Even if some of them do tend to be really, really loud. Lol.

I know, right? I've found that the fandom is pretty cool - not scary. Of course, there's goofiness, but that's what makes it fun. Following the actors on Twitter makes it gold. :D

Right?? It's far from perfect, but the good by far outweighs the bad, as far as I'm concerned. From what people always say I was expecting so much worse.

I've only seen one or two genuinely good Anna/Cas *fics*, but there are a decent amount of well-made fanvids out there if you're into that.

Christ, so start one if you want it so badly. I'm tired of the "somebody take on this huge responsibility to make me and 3 other people happy" secrets.

deangabriel A com just for the pairing of Dean and Gabriel.

spn_rarepair A com devoted to rare pairs of SPN.

I OTP Dean/Castiel, but I also like Dean/Jo, Dean/Bela, and Dean/probably just about any woman. And also Sam/Jess and Sam/Madison. So I'd totally be up for more fics. There is a SPN het community, but it isn't active at all.

I wish more people shipped Dean/Ruby/Castiel, but when all else fails I write it myself instead of moaning about it. Now, okay, so maybe that's not what you were doing but I've just seen a sudden influx of these kinds of posts. I understand that not everybody is a writer but you can't tell people what to ship. If you're not a writer, you could always start a kink meme or maybe a comment fic meme. Regardless of what you ship, there will always be someone out there who ships it as well.

Love this idea, we really do need more rarepair fic. (I can't keep re-reading the one good Ed/Corbett and handful of Dean/Hendrickson fics forever) :P

However, "Sabriel"? I have never heard it called that before and can we just stop it because that's truly awful.

Hey SM, I suggest looking into character big bangs, there beautiful and awesome places to find fics. Like I know I'm watching with baited breath for the Balthazar one ((in hopes for some nummy yummy Calthazar)), and the Crowley one ((sadly this one isn't till summer time, but I'm hoping beyond hope for some Crobby to come out of it)).

spn_gen_bigbang. Plus there's all kinds just scattered around and I KNOW there's a comm just for recs for fics not about the big two but I can't remember it

don't give up! And I'd love a rarepairs big bang too, but that is in no way the only source - you should check AO3 as well. (Also, this may be a bad time to say it, but GOOD LORD I hate the smushed-together ship names in this fandom. The only one I like is Wincest and I don't ship it at all =/)
