I disagree. I've been on fanficrants for years, I've participated and never been called out, and I still find myself hoping theo chokes on a chicken leg or something fairly regularly. He's a dick, a lot of the members are dicks, and I can say that despite being someone who has actually never had an open conflict with any of them.

sf_d people do make me laugh.

They always whine that the popular media are always showing off white, thin, conventionally attractive young privileged women

not agreeing or disagreeing (so don't want to go into it)... but it reminded me of the funniest/weirdest thing i ever saw on FFR... some one using an LJ-cut to hide a trigger. yes, normal and all, BUT the cut itself said "Trigger warning for the word 'rape'"

Ffrants has gone waaaaaaay down hill the last couple of years. They didn't used to be oversensitive, and people used to call out those whose rants weren't reasonable all the time. In fact, there used to be a lot of good meta-disguised-as-rants there and there used to be a sense of humor. I gave them up about 2 years ago for being thoughtlessly repetitive.

I don't know about sf_drama. I took one look at that place years ago and it was wall to wall unfunny frothing, echo-chamber backslaps, and people taking shit far too seriously. So if ffrants is that bad now, that's pretty bad.

Okay, the sf_drama anon community is funny, I'll give you that. Sf_drama members in general, less so.

But I will definitely agree that fanficrants and ffrantsanon are full of a bunch of perpetually angry hypersensitive jerks who enjoy nothing more than dogpiling the shit out of people and trying their best to make anyone who doesn't worship the ground their mods walk on feel like a bad, bad person. I'm not sure if it's actually annoying or just sadly funny.
