MTE, Anges is an unbelievably annoying character. I might like her more if Keely and Ed had any sort of chemistry, i just don't feel it.

After the last episode, those two deserve each other as far as I'm concerned.

I know it's period-appropriate behaviour but husbands bitching about their wives hanging out with other dudes where nothing actually happened and then going off to pork another woman is something that really irritates me. Like I said, period appropriate but still annoying.

Although I guess Percy's behaviour can be explained by her being understandably emotionally messed up by events surrounding her.

Yeah, no. I mean, Agnes is irritating, sure. But the old 'distance in a relationship = affair with nearest available single woman (in this case, sister, in others, maid)' is so old and uninteresting to me that I'm actively irritated whenever they're on screen together. It bugs me.

I was equally irritated when Agnes tried it on, so it's not personal to the characters involved. But for goodness sake, ship him with the duke and her with another Nazi sympathiser, at least that is interesting.

Or ship what you want, I guess, it's not like I'm in the fandom anyway. I just watch it.

I do enjoy the new series, but I care so much more what happens downstairs than upstairs. No pun intended.

Adore Keely Hawkes, so although I'm all for Hallam/Percy, it's mostly because I can't stand either of them and they should therefor elope together never to be seen again.

If anyone, Agnes should be the one getting to have a young lover, like Lady Bellamy had. Preferably Bradley James or Simon Woods.
