For the first three games, it gave me a feeling of real character development too- personally I found Jak 2 Jak the most attractive, but he does indeed age well, too. It kind of felt like a step backward in Lost Frontier in some respects, though.

I liked him best in TPL and 3 - J2 felt a bit too emo for me, even though he had good reasons to angst.

I guess I will always like the first Jak the best. The rest of the games were good, but I just never really got over how they practically changed everything after the first one. D:

I like the third Jak the best, but they really did seem to completely change him after 1 and it never really sat right with me. So in my mind there's first Jak and other Jak. =)

Funny, I had a bit of conversation with someone on a previous F!S a couple days back over this franchise.

I liked all the Jaks (yes, "The Lost Frontier" included despite the flaws in that game) EXCEPT the third game Jak. Gah.
