Hi! I love this series, the manga and the anime. :D I didn't interact with fandom that much in terms of fic or comm stalking, but I made some crap-ass fanart (http://yunamira.deviantart.com/art/Masa-166993789?q=gallery%3Ayunamira%2F103748&qo=3). (Yaichi came out lopsided, and was never uploaded)
I recently started reading the original again, so I may go back to scribbling pictures again. :P

I love that series so much, but I'm afraid it's not something that will ever be really popular. I think a lot of people get turned off by the art style and that's a shame because the story is really amazing.

THIS. FOREVER AND EVER THIS. I seriously love this series. I love that it's a period drama, I love that its plot doesn't hinge on a romantic subplot, I love development of Masanosuke's character and the exploration of Yaichi's character that feed into his overall motives. But I don't feel confident enough in any medium to submit any fanworks for it, so I really don't know what I can contribute. Why can't talented people like obscure shows?!
