I was really excited for the Leviathans at the start of the season, but they haven't really done much to build them up between now and then. They've felt more like occasional nuisances than the big, bad villains lurking in the shadows. Aside from the Cas thing, the Bobby thing and requiring the boys to ditch the Impala and their usual M.O., it hasn't really felt like they've had as much of a profound effect on the season as some of the past big bads. (But hopefully this will change.)

I want Cas to get at least ONE hug. Just ONE, that is all I ask. And I'm really hoping they don't pull some "oh, it's Cas, but not really--lol, fooled you!" crap. Blergh.

OP - word. I was discussing this season with my boyfriend, and he brought up the idea that they're trying to use the Leviathan as some sort of commentary on the Occupy movement, and neither of us want that. It's not something I want to see in my Supernatural, dammit!
