God, I pretty much agree with this word for word, especially regarding season 7 and the narrative validating Dean's incredibly fucked up morality. And I can't speak for anyone else, of course, but so far I've found the Leviathan really disappointing and completely non-threatening. In Meet the New Boss they seemed so promising and exciting and chaotic! But all they've done is that ridiculous ~ooh mysterious behind the scenes plotting~ thing which I seriously doubt is actually going to go anywhere. I'll happily eat my words if they actually do something, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Totally stoked for Cas (and Meg!) coming back though, if terrified. I'm worried they're just gonna kill all my favourite characters again.

OP - the problem with the Leviathan for me is that it feels like they might be going somewhere with their story arc, but I don't like the implications if they do go there. (The bf and I were talking about it a week or so ago once we'd finished catching up on the series, and he brought up the possibility they were trying to make a commentary on the Occupy movement, which... NO.)

On Dean, I'm not so angry at the show for it anymore, since they have acknowledged in show how messed up he is, he just doesn't listen. Which annoys me, but I can appreciate as a massive character flaw. =)

Also - YESSSSS, MORE MEG, she's one of my favourite longtime characters! /EXCITED
