This is kind of understandable since they're underage. Thing is, I've seen a lot of people express this sentiment but then turn around and be perfectly okay with all the porn in a fandom like, say, Prince of Tennis, where the major characters are also all in middle school, but they're boys.

Personally, I'm plenty into R18 PMMM stuff, but my mind kind of automatically ages them up for me. They come off as a lot more mature than 14 to me in the first place.

My first sexual experience with another girl was when I was 14... I can understand not wanting to sexualize and objectify younger girls because I'm right there with you, but it's not uncommon for teens to be sexual so to act like it is seems odd. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people who don't have sex as a teen, which is fine too! Nothing wrong with that. I wouldn't even say I've had sex yet, but still....

I don't think it's strange to appreciate a ship in a romantic but not sexual sense. I'm that way about quite a few of my ships, actually! I hope you find lots of non-explicit fic/fanart that you can enjoy, OP!

Guess what, OP? They're fictional characters. They don't exist, they will never exist, they will never breathe air, do something independent of their own, grow-up, etc. 15 years from now, they'll still be 14 years old. No harm is coming to these made-up, fictional, cartoon, oh excuse me, anime, characters. So why shouldn't there be a kinkmeme? No, I've never been to it or seen the show. I don't care to. I'm just sick of people being all assholish and judgmental about fictional, cartoon characters. IDIC. Live it, love it, learn it.

Yeah, sure there's no reason it should be illegal, but OP is perfectly justified in being a little skeeved out that there are grownups perving over 14-year-olds. S/he's not saying that it should be banned, she's just saying it's creepy. You have a right to your harmless kinks - you don't have a right not to have people think you're creepy if you're fapping over the idea of 14-year-olds having kinky sex.

I'm with ya, anon. I ship both of these pairings like tomorrow ain't a thing, but I prefer them to be aged up in fanfiction, particularly of the pornographic variety. I have no problem with sexually explicit fanworks where they're younger - as someone above me said, they're fictional characters and a writer/artist's kink isn't hurting a soul, but it's not my personal preference.

It makes me really happy to see how many people are so accepting of the differing preferences and kinks of others! I'm old enough to have Gundam Wing as my first fandom, and the amount of "OMG U GAY-LOVING PAEDOPHILES" vitriol almost outnumbered the fanworks themselves. I'm really excited by how far we've come!

Heh, if there were sexually active middle-school kids when I was in that age range, then they're definitely out there today. Doesn't mean that older fans can't feel wierd about the idea of explicit material in the fandom, I know I do but I just avoid the stuff and go on with my life. And you should just avoid that kink meme too but keep in mind that there's a lot of middle/high school kids writing fic on the internet, and kids will be kids. Nothing you can do about that.

Anyone over 20ish shipping them explicitly at the age of 14 though, that would creep me out. Not gonna lie.
