I've seen it frequently. If you say that you are an atheist on the _p, you will often be accused to supporting white men who like to shut down minorities, because the most visible proponents of atheism are straight white cis-men.

I'm legitimately confused because some of the mods are atheists. Of course, I haven't seen any posts on atheism since I started lurking there.

It's because people who are anti-theist (which is different from just being atheists) are usually overlooking the role religion has in many PoC communities, among other reasons. It's a pretty legit criticism against certain prominent atheists, especially ones like Hitchens who was actively and outwardly an Islamophobic misogynist.

This is generally an ONTD_P level of argument. When PoC are involved, misogyny becomes a cultural difference.
