On issues and platforms, though? The Democrats aren't the ones trying to shove the US government (and ultrasound wands) into my uterus. They're not the ones trying to keep Planned Parenthood from being able to afford to offer me BC and gyno exams. They're not the ones leading the charge against LGBT rights. They're not the ones trying to institute de-facto poll taxes and other underhanded voter-suppression tricks to disenfranchise minorities, young people, and the elderly. So you'll forgive me if I have a hard time believing that one side is "no better than" the other.
