19. I like my fandom friends better than I like anyone at my godforsaken college (which I'm probably not going to get a degree from, anyway) or my godforsaken job. Fandom at least gives me something to do and people to talk to, because I'm not really all that big on the whole "people and society" thing. Fandom and the internet in general keep me from being totally isolated. It's not like I never go outside, because I do, but I'm mostly a solitary person (I can count my RL friends outside of my family on one finger).
