God...I know EXACTLY how you feel. Like...to a T. The only difference is I already told her more than once but asldkfjasd. For me it didn't...work out that great, really. :\ I don't think she's scared of me (we're still friends, but it's not like I can read her mind.) But really I say just...go with your gut and tell her. For me it hurt like--a lot, but at least I know where things stood, which sort of helped.

Sometimes when I'm working on an original work, I stop and think about what sort of pairing wars my characters/storytelling would generate, and I don't even try writing/thinking about subtext. I wonder what would happen if you did indeed write something chock full of it? Ooh, and the fanfic part! I love that idea! <3 Go for iiiit!

19. I see where you're coming from, for sure. I'm a rather low-key fan when it comes to anime (I usually like less known work), but I know people who squee and shout and go loudly on and on about pairings and bishounen and all that. And they do this all rather loudly, so I feel embarassed to be near them when they're doing so because I don't want to be labled as a fellow crazy pairing/bishie/squeeing fangirl ('cause I'm pretty sure I ain't), not to mention they can be rather disruptive in public. I mean, I'm glad to know fellow anime fans, but, well, I can't stand being around loud/disruptive people in public!

Pretty sure I know who wrote this. I can't say I really like that particular pairing by itself so much, but I don't think less of you for liking it. ♥ And it's not like we squabble over who should be with who, since we basically ship everyone with everyone else to a certain extent. WHICH IS AWESOME, BTW.

10. If, for some reason I decide to get something published and actually succeed, I'm going to do the exact same thing as you. I would really hope that my fandom doesn't turn out to be sane just because I wouldn't be able to see fights about which one of my characters are screwing one another.

14. Fandom is full of misandry too, just in a different way. It doesn't draw pictures of them being stabbed/hanged/flogged/etc., but you also can't deny the massive stereotyping that goes on.
