I finally worked up the nerve today. I tumblr saviored every SJ buzzword I could think of, and unfollowed the dozen or so people who post about it most frequently, on multiple platforms. If I had known what a huge load it would take off my chest not to be constantly confronted with it, I would've done this long ago. Finally I can turn my fandom blogs back into the anxiety-relieving safe spaces they once were.

At first I was SO READY for Game of Thrones secrets, but now I realized I'm probably going to be bombarded with spoilers from people who have read all the books

I'm half way through the 2nd book. I just scroll on past them. I used to be good about squeezing in a chapter a night, but lately I've been so tired that I just fall asleep. I'll probably hold off watching the series till I've finished it. Ikno, cool story bro. :P

Ok so I'm going to start watching GoT now. I just have a question though, is there nudity/sex in every episode and will I miss a lot of plot line if I skip those scenes?

Unfortunately, you will miss some important details if you skip the sex scenes. "Sexposition", LOL

There's a lot of sex scenes you shouldn't skip (but who's to say you can't) because otherwise you'll skip a lot plot-wise. BUT. Don't worry, you become desensitized after the first few episodes. I have a friend who's asexual/prudish, and she had a hard time getting through the sex scenes, but she said she got used to it surprisingly quickly. And after three or four episodes later she didn't even bat an eyelash.
