It doesn't help that those points are made badly. So much so that it comes off as the movie really not caring one way or the other about the environment. :\

Did we watch different movies? The kids I was with got the points quite well, so much that they complained verbally when the environment changed and the bears and singing fish had to leave.

I think this is YMMV, and bringing TNC into this just goes to show that opinions are opinions, not fact. Though I'll have to agree on the unsaid point that most movies are more for entertainment purposes than bringing attention to a real-life issue.

Am I the only one bothered by Zac Efron's deep voice being used for a twelve-year-old boy? Talk about balls dropping early.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've seen the trailers. That kid is supposed to be twelve? I thought he was fifteen, at least.
