Yeah, honestly. It makes me wonder if we even read the same fucking series. Like, really? You just read this serious dystopian novel with very heavy cultural and societal implications that is meant to make the younger generation think.. and all you're getting from this book is the love triangle? If someone reads The Hunger Games and come out of it bitching about ships instead of discussing its deeper implications or even attempting to think about them, it makes me think that either a) you're stupid, b) you don't care, c) you are very shallow, or d) you're a Twilight fan looking for a new ~ONLY TRUE PAIR FOREVARRR~ to ship now that Twilight is basically obsolete. I just do not understand how you can read a book about children being slaughtered and come out of it being upset because Katniss ended up with Peeta instead of Gale. Come on, now.
