15 -- I liked Jack in Doctor Who S3, but I feel like he (and the rest of the cast) lacked any real characterising moments in Torchwood, which made it hard to care about any of them. So, mixed bag.

I think Torchwood is just hard to care about in general (maybe just me >_>' )

Although, I have to admit, I liked Suzie quite a bit.

Yeah, the writing was lacklustre. I feel like the premise was cool enough, but the execution (especially characterisation) was not great... maybe season two will be better.

I definitely agree with that. It's not that the show was inherently bad, it's what they did with it. It'd be interesting to see what would happen if we got some good writers on that show and fewer pterodactyls

I'm actually feeling a little hopeful for Season 2, since [casting spoiler] makes everything better just by existing near it :3
